We train on our floodlit Club grounds at the old St Edwards Hospital every Tuesday and Thursday. Training starts at 7.00pm prompt and finishes at approximatly 9.00pm. Full changing, and shower facilities are available, and the Club bar is opened to the players after each session until approximately 11.00pm. Training itself is structured to benefit all participants, consisting of a mixture of fitness, and personal conditioning, with squad drills and group / individual tuition. The club has a number of qualified coaches, however we are always on the lookout for individuals who are willing to assist with training, and the development of the Senior playing staff. If you are willing to become part of the coaching staff, please contact Gareth Jones, whose contact detaisl are shown on the Leek RUFC Officials section of this website. Several of the Junior teams also train during the week, with the main Junior training sessions taking place on a Sunday morning, also at the club grounds. As an ambitious Club, we view training as an essential ingredient to the Clubs' success at all levels on the pitch, therefore, every player with aspirations of playing regularly in the senior teams should try to commit to both sessions each week, as this is taken into consideration during team selection.
